5. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side)
appearing for the respondent would strongly oppose the anticipatory bail
application on the ground that this petitioner has assaulted a public ser vant,
namely, the Block Development Officer (BDO); and that he has got five
previous cases in Crime No. 97 of 2020, Salem Town Police Station; Crime No.
12 of 2022, Pallapatti Police Station; Crime No. 309 of 2023, Attur Polic e
Station; and Crime Nos. 353 and 368 of 2024, Kondalampatti Police Station.
6. From the above detailing of the crime numbers, this Court could able to
see the conduct and character of the petitioner. The criminal ante cedents
palpably demonstrate that he is of the person misusing the liberty and
subverting the justice. Therefore, this Court is of the firm view that he does not
deserve anticipatory bail. Hence, this Court is not inclined to gra nt anticipatory
bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
