A2 / appellant in Crl.A.No.296 of 2023 is acquitted of all charges under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) and 25 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Subs tance Act, 1985. It is reported by the learned counsel appearing on either side that A2 / appellant is now in incarceration. Crl.A.No.1354 of 2024: Criminal Appeal in Crl.A.No.1354 of 2024 is partly allowed and the judgment dated 10.02.2022 passed in CC.No.39 of 2020 on the file of the learned Additional District Judge, Special Court under EC Act / NDPS Act, Coimbatore, is modified in respect of A1 / appellant, as follows:- (i)Conviction under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii) (C) and 25 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985, stands confirmed. (ii)Insofar as sentence of 20 years rigorous imprisonment imposed under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) and 25 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985, is reduced to ten years.
