According to the petitioner, the earlier cheque issued by the 2nd respondent, dated 30.12.2013 was not presented by the petitioner and it has now become stale. Hence, the petitioner had submitted a representation on 24.08.2022 to the 1 st respondent requesting the 1 st respondent to issue a fresh cheque in favour of the petitioner for a sum of Rs.5,27,100/- towards the compensation amount payable to the petitioner for the acquisition of her l ands. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner ha s filed this writ petition. 3. Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent. 4. No prejudie would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in ac cordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with l aw on the petitioner’s representation, dated 24.08.2022 seeking issuance of fresh cheque in favour of the petitioner towards the compensation amount payable to the petitioner for the lands acquired from the petitioner, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, within a peri od of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
