This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the same. 3.Mr.J.Kumaran, learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy), accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. On instructions, he would subm it that there are rival claimants in respect of the very same pr operty for which LGR patta is sought for by the petitioner. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner’s applications are considered on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and also after hearing all the r ival claimants within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 12764 of 2026 4.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by direct ing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s applications dated 02.01.2020 and 12.09.2022, seeking for grant of LGR patta in the name of the petitioner for the property moref ully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all t he rival claimants within a period of twelve weeks from the date of rec eipt of a copy of this order.
