petitioner in Crl.OP.No.8587 of 2026 is the father-in-law of the fist pe titioner.
He further submitted that except A1, there are no specific overt acts against the

relationship between A1 and the defacto complainant. Hence, he seeks
anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

with the same modus operandi, joined together to cheat and extract money from
the vulnerable victim girl. Hence, he strongly opposed the anticipator y bail to
the petitioners.
5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the

submitted that though the petitioners in Crl.OP.No.8587 of 2026 were not

7. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations, the materials
indicating the involvement of the petitioners and the past conduct of the f irst
petitioner, this Court is of the view that if the petitioners are enlarged on bail, it
would make it difficult for the prosecution to proceed with the investigation and
may also jeopardize the case of the prosecution. Hence, this Court is not
inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail.
8. Accordingly these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed.
Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
