For Petitioner : Mr.R.Radhakrishnan For Respondents : Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, Government Advocate, for RR-1 to 6 ORDER This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to conduct an enquiry based on the petitioner’s representation seeking for cancellation of patta No.1242 standing in the name of the seventh respondent and for issuance of revised joint patta in favour of the petitioner and others for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to t his Writ Petition within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondent Nos.1 to 6. Based on the petitioner’s representation, as stated supra, the second respondent has already initiated proceedings. Therefore, no prejudice will be caused to any of the parties if a direction i s issued to the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance w ith law on the petitioner’s representation seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the seventh respondent for the property more ful ly disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition and for issuance of re vised joint patta in favour of the petitioner and others for the very same property, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the seventh res pondent and any other third party whom the second respondent deem fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. 4. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation, dated 26.11.2025 seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the seventh 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.16352 of 2026 respondent for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition and for issuance of revised joint patta in favour of the peti tioner and others for the very same property after giving due consideration t o the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the seventh respondent and any other third party whom the second respondent deem fit to enquire within a period of 12 weeks fr om the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
