Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the authorities competent conducted survey and issued notice under TamilNadu Urb an Local Bodies Act. 2. In view of the said submission, the respondents 1 to 4 a re directed to continue the enforcement action and remove the encroachmen t by following the procedures as contemplated under the relevant provisions of the Act and Rules by affording opportunity to the alleged encroacher s within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this ord er. In view of express bar under the Act, no Civil Suit is maintainable and the authorities may initiate appropriate action defending the suit, if any instituted.
